We are searching for an experienced and mature Part-Time Sales Associate, to provide both excellent customer service and help in daily operations of the business.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion retail sales as well as strong communication skills. You will help in identifying client needs and assisting them. Keeping a strong focus on product and brand knowledge, answering any questions about our products and services clients may have. This motivated candidate will not only have to be a strong team player, they will also be exceptional at multitasking and working alone when needed.

We are looking for someone who can work twenty hours a week. The candidate must have weekends available, and flexibility. This position will be at our Downtown location only.

Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store beyond satisfied; contributing to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers

  • Styling women

  • Assisting new moms with baby products.

  • Provide accurate information about products

  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products

  • Ensure all products are fully stocked and organized

  • Maximize sales

  • Coordinate with the Retail team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)

  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers

  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services (there is a wide variety of different products, and product knowledge is a major focus.)

  • Unpack and receive new inventory efficiently, while still remaining to put customer sales first when required.

  • Keep on top of daily tasks assigned by Managers.

  • Opening and Closing of the storefront

  • Maintain store cleanliness

Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in Women's Retail (Experience in home and baby goods is a plus)

  • Exceptional understanding of the retail sales process

  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

  • Visual Merchandising is a bonus

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting long term relationships

  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environment, must be one step ahead as there are a lot of moving parts

  • Flexibility to work various shifts. 6-8 hours at once. Minimum 3 days a week. Weekend availability is required.

  • Post secondary education in Business, Fashion, Communications, or Interior Design a major positive.
